Week 7 Picks - This is a Josh Jacobs appreciation post

I don’t know if I can accurately write down the sound that Josh Jacobs caused me to produce last Sunday.

On his third carry of the game, Jacobs took a handoff gliding right out of a pistol formation, knifed through an arm tackle, then rumbled for nine yards before a Cardinals defender made the unfortunate decision to try to wrap up his legs. Filled with what I can only imagine was disdain, Jacobs bucked the poor sap trying to grab his thigh pad, then absorbed a full-body blow from a safety crashing hard from deep. Jacobs absorbed the hit, then continued to gallop over the now-crumpled defender who threw it, only to finally be dragged down by two more Cardinals.

I think I blurted something that sounded something like “goooohwow,” but, like I said, that’s hard to type.

The run moved the Packers into Cardinals territory, and four plays later they scored, never to relinquish the lead. Plenty of great plays followed, but that one stuck with me.
