663 - Packers Defensive Line is a Unit in Transition

See this content in the original post

It feels like we’ve been using the word “transition” a lot when it comes to the 2023 Packers, and we have to use it again with the defensive line.

Low- and no-expectations defensive linemen

Sometimes we just don’t expect much of you, and that’s true for Antonio Moultrie, Jason Lewan, Chris Slayton, and Jonathan Ford this year.

Moderate-expectations defensive linemen

A couple of players fall into the middle ground category this year, and both of them are 2023 draft picks. Say hello to Colby Wooden and Karl Brooks, both of whom figure to have had small but important roles on the 2023 Packers.

High-expectations linemen have a lot to live up to

There are three defensive linemen from whom the Packers will ask a lot this year. Kenny Clark is a perennial player in this category, but Devonte Wyatt and T.J. Slaton both will play very important roles in 2023. Can they fill them?
