10k and Offseason Notes
The Packer Perspective passed a significant milestone this weekend. At some point yesterday, we went over the 10,000 views mark (at least according to the stats supplied by Wordpress). Thanks to everyone who helped the blog get to this point, and to whoever was the 10,000th visitor, you get a special prize. Unfortunately, I have no way of knowing who number 10k was, so I guess I'll just keep the prize.
Okay, let's be honest, there never was a prize.
In all seriousness, though, I'm pretty excited that we've reached this milestone so quickly. When The Packer Perspective launched last April, I had no idea if people would like it or even read it at all, so reaching this many views seems to indicate I'm at least doing something right. Either that or there's a bunch of people who enjoy reading bad writing.
Now that we're officially into the offseason (moment of silence for the 2012 Packer season...thanks...), I'm going to do my best to keep that stream of viewers ticking towards 20,000. I have posts planned out from the Super Bowl through the NFL Draft, so hopefully things will more or less proceed as normal until then. I can't guarantee we'll stick to the four post a week structure we had during the season, but there will be regular updates.
As always, I appreciate the readership and I look forward to interacting with as many readers as I can throughout the offseason. If you have any topics you'd like covered, be sure to let me know!
