Happy Birthday, Packer Perspective!
A year ago today, The Packer Perspective launched into the Internet. There was no Packer Perspective Facebook or Twitter. No uniform reviews. No game previews or reviews. Just some thoughts about Chad Clifton and a plan to talk about the NFL Draft later in the week.
That was then, this is now.
Since then, The Packer Perspective has expanded to Facebook and Twitter (be sure to like and follow if you haven't liked and followed!), has been featured on the Wordpress "Freshly Pressed" blog, and has been viewed more than 12,000 times. Though it's far from being truly "big," this site has gotten bigger far faster than I could have imagined.
Of course, I couldn't have done it without people showing up to read it, and you (all of you...especially YOU...you know who you are) have showed up in far greater numbers and with much greater regularity than I ever hoped. For that, I thank you.
This next year will feature much of what you saw last time around, although I hope to add a lot of new content and features. One of the things I'm most excited about is the (still unnamed) Packer Perspective podcast, which I hope to have up and running by the time the regular season kicks off. No promises, but we'll see.
Also, if YOU have any ideas of things you'd like to see, be sure to let me know! I'd love to hear what you think of the site and how it can be bigger and better. Thanks to all who showed up to read this past year. I hope the next 365 days are just as good as the last 365.
