653 - Catching up on Jordan Love, Jonathan Owens, and the 2023 Schedule

The Packers keep tweaking their roster as we get a chance to hear from a few notable voices on the team, including quarterback Jordan Love. Plus, we actually know when the Packers are going to be playing some games. Football season really isn’t far away.

Packers roster moves (00:37)

The Packers have signed safety Jonathan Owens, who’s perhaps better known as the husband of Simone Biles. Owens is an athletic prospect who gives the Packers some more experience in the secondary.

The Packers have also claimed offensive lineman DJ Scaife on waivers, adding another big-bodied prospect to their interior prospects.

We don’t normally dive too deep on the NFL schedule, but a couple of interesting stretches stand out here.

We have been working through David Maraniss’ excellent work on Vince Lombardi this offseason, and we’ve finally arrived at the point where he takes over as the Packers’ head coach.
