Podcast history is rich and deep, and there is no end of resources discussing it.

Even the Packers themselves have released a definitive work on their own history, and it’s certainly impressive, as are many of the great undertakings on the subject.

But so far, there has never been a podcast discussing every player to ever play for the green and gold.

Until now.

Welcome to the Random Packers Player Podcast, a show where we’ll look at the history of the Green Bay Packers through the men who played for the team.

Every week, we’ll pick one player from the list of nearly 2000 who have lined up for the Packers, giving you a glimpse into his career, how he came to Green Bay, and what he did while he was there.

Some will be names you’ll recognize. Others will be completely new. All will be a part of the great story that is Green Bay Packers history.

Will we get to every player? Probably not, but we’ll tell the story of the ones we cover as well as we can, and hopefully teach you something you didn’t know about your favorite team in the process.
