Ha Ha Clinton-Dix's Incredible Start

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is having a historically great start to his career.

The soon-to-be fourth year pro is the third member of a very short list in Green Bay: along with Herb Adderley and Willie Wood, Clinton-Dix is the only other defensive back in Packers history to play in 40 or more games and make a Pro Bowl in his first three seasons.

Adderley and Wood were the cornerstones of Vince Lombardi’s secondary in the 1960’s, and while Clinton-Dix has never been a part of a team who reached the heights of Lombardi’s juggernauts, he’s been no slouch either.

In Clinton-Dix’s three seasons, the Packers have been to the NFC Championship game twice and came within a blown coverage on Larry Fitzgerald of making a third trip.

Clinton-Dix has played well in those postseason excursions, too: in seven career playoff games, he’s been credited with three interceptions and 24 tackles.

Though he has plenty of room to grow, Clinton-Dix is off to a great start, and he was one of the few bright spots on last year’s all too forgiving defense.
